FACEIT and Windows 10: what's changing

Windows 10 support has ended. From 14 October 2026, FACEIT only accepts Windows 10 22H2 with Extended Security Updates (ESU), and Windows 11 becomes mandatory in October 2027. This guide walks you through moving to Windows 11 yourself, for free, step by step. It's on us.

  • Consumer ESU for Windows 10 is extended until 12 October 2027: there's time, no need to rush.
  • Upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11 is free on a compatible PC with a valid Windows 10 licence (Microsoft).
  • Official Microsoft tools only. No dodgy software, no “cheap” keys.
  • Keep this guide open on your phone: follow along while your PC restarts, and your progress is saved.
